Stephanie and Betsi: This recipe debuted at our very first marinade exchange. We had to search all over for Thai Chili Sauce. Look in the Asian food aisle of your grocery store. It is usually just called Chili Sauce or even Chili Garlic Sauce. If you can only find the one with garlic, just reduce the minced garlic by half. It is a bit spicy, so you can adjust it to your families preferences. Wonderful on all types of meat.

Assembly hints:
Use a one gallon freezer bag for each recipe you make. Put the freezer bag in a drinking glass, small bowl or measuring cup. Add the ingredients assembly-line style to each bag.

Assembly Directions:
Add the green onions, ketchup, molasses, water, soy sauce, sesame oil, Thai chili sauce and garlic to a one gallon freezer bag. Seal and shake or squish together to mix the ingredients.

Freezing Directions:
Add up to 3 lbs. of your choice of meat to the freezer bag. Shrimp, chicken and steak are great in this marinade! Seal, label and freeze.

Serving Directions:
Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Remove meat from marinade and discard marinade. Grill or cook meat as desired.

Stephanie’s Comments:
*= 12 servings based on adding 3 lbs. of meat to the marinade. Adding less meat will yield fewer servings. 4 oz. of meat is considered a serving.
Wonderful on all types of meat! Shrimp is wonderful, but chicken and even steak are great as well.
