30 DAY GOURMET SEMINAR INFORMATION
 |
|
Thank you for your interest in having 30 Day Gourmet come and speak to the “frustrated cooks” in your organization. I would love to share our fun, new way of facing that daily, daunting task of meal preparation. |
I am charging $400 for my two hour seminar when done outside Indiana (plus travel expenses) and $200 for in-state seminars (plus 40 cents per mile).
After managing 30 Day Gourmet full-time for almost 10 years, I was given the opportunity to return to the classroom. In 2004, I began teaching English at Covenant Christian High School in Indianapolis. I love BOTH of my jobs but it makes for a very busy schedule. I am available to do 30 Day Gourmet seminars in the evenings and on Saturdays if they are within 25 miles of Indianapolis. During the summer months, traveling outside the Indy area is fine. Please contact me if you have any questions.
Although the 2 hour length of the seminar may seem long, I assure you that the time will fly by. I do try to take a 10-15 minute break in the middle (provided we have been able to start on time!). Sometimes, I will give a shortened version of the seminar for conventions and retreats where time slots are rigid. In these cases, the fee remains the same.
The contract, which I send after dates have been agreed upon, clearly outlines what I bring and what you will need to provide. Most organizations, churches, etc. have everything necessary. I do not require kitchen facilities. I will need a wireless microphone, a laptop and LCD projector with a remote, a screen, and the ability to darken the seminar room.
We encourage our seminar sponsors to advertise 30 Day Gourmet to the public. The seminar is a great way to introduce your group to the community! I am often asked to give newspaper, radio and television interviews for the cities that I visit and don’t mind doing this at all. Just have them contact me directly.
The 30 Day Gourmet cookbook is offered for sale at each of our seminars, but attendees are in no way pressured to buy. The information that I give can easily be taken home and used in a number of ways by those who buy the materials as well as those who do not.
With the contract, I also send publicity pictures, sample flyers and other useful information. A seminar handout with an outline, contact info and a free recipe will also be sent for you to copy for attendees.
Please contact me as soon as possible by e-mail (office@30daygourmet.com) to discuss potential seminar dates.
Sincerely,
Nanci Slagle office@30daygourmet.com
