Teriyaki Pork Chops

The recipe calls for Bottled pureed ginger. Instead of buying the bottled ginger I buy ginger root, peel with a paring knife and process in my mini food processor with some water (to get the right pureed consistency). Then I place in a quart size freezer bag and spread somewhat flat and freeze. Then when I need ginger I just break off a piece about the size that I need and use in recipes. It tastes great, keeps well in the freezer and is less expensive than the bottle ginger. Just a thought!
